The Light Duty (CL55) Cable Ladder is a lightweight, economical cable support system optimized for low-load commercial, office, retail, and tertiary infrastructure installations where space is limited and cable weights are minimal. Fabricated from pre-galvanized steel (Z275 coating per AS1397) with optional hot-dip galvanizing, it features 55 mm side rails and welded round-bar rungs at 300 mm centers for open ventilation and easy cable drop-outs. Fully compliant with NEMA 8C and AS/NZS 61537, it delivers safe working loads of 25–40 kg/m over 3 m spans (safety factor 1.5).
The compact range includes:
Straights: 3 m lengths in widths 100 mm to 500 mm.
90° Horizontal Bends: Pre-formed with 300 mm radius.
Horizontal Tees: Equal split for simple branching.
Internal Risers: 90° vertical up bends (100 mm rise standard).
Covers: Lightweight clip-on galvanized covers with spring-clip or turnbuckle fastening for indoor dust protection.
Connections use a boltless splice plate system with pre-inserted spring nuts for tool-free assembly in under 30 seconds and guaranteed electrical continuity. Stainless steel 316 variant available for damp or food-grade areas.
